dc.descriptionThis CMP was prepared for NSW Land and Housing Corporation (NSW LAHC) to manage the heritage significance of the place, being number 65 of the terrace pair at 63-65 Lower Fort Street, Dawes Point, known as 'Vermont Terrace' (hereafter referred to as 'the place' or 'the subject site'). 'Vermont Terrace' is listed as an item of heritage significance on both the NSW SHR and the Sydney Local Environmental Plan (LEP) 2012. Being located within Dawes Point, 65 Lower Fort Street has also been included in the various heritage listings that apply to the Millers PoinUDawes Point suburb/precinct as a whole. These include The Millers Point and Dawes Point Conservation Area under the City of Sydney LEP 2012 (CA35), the Millers Point & Dawes Point Village Precinct on the NSW SHR (Listing No. 01682), and The Millers Point Conservation Area on the NSW SHR (Listing No. 00884. Note: this listing applies to NSW State Government owned heritage assets only). The subject site is also identified as a heritage asset on the LAHC S170 Heritage and Conservation Register.en
