Description:	The site is listed as Parramatta Central Inventory Numbers 107, 108, 109, 121 , 122 and 123 the Parramatta Archaeological Zoning Plan.2 This report was commissioned by Crown Landmark Development Pty Ltd on 14 November 2011 . The site was originally subject to area archaeological excavation in 2005.3 Negotiations between the then owners, Estate Project Developments Pty Ltd, and the NSW government led to an agreement for the in situ conservation of the archaeological remains on the Macquarie Street frontage This report includes the results of three separate approvals for archaeological excavation and monitoring relating to the one site. They are: 1. The Basement Area (81). 2. The Macquarie Street frontage with archaeological remains to be conserved in situ, and 3. The Display Suite (for the sale of units in the new development), also on the Macquarie Street frontage at the corner of Marsden Street. The Display Suite was a temporary building, now demolished to make way for the completion of the plaza area) The archaeological monitoring of the Basement Area was completed in December 2011 . The research background for this investigation area is described in the Section 2.2. The principle findings of this investigation are described in Chapter 3: 1. The completion of the excavation of the well on Allotment 26. 2. The outbuilding on the rear of Allotment 16. 3. Other features. 4. Environmental sampling.
