| Description: | Godden Mackay logan Pty Ltd (GMl) has been engaged by Mirvac Projects Pty Ltd (Mirvac) to prepare an Archaeological Research Design (ARD) for the proposed redevelopment of the site known as '200 George Street', Sydney. The site incorporates three sites in the Sydney CBD-200 George Street, 190 George Street and 4 Dalley Street. This report provides a research framework and methodology for the investigation and management of the potential archaeological resource at the site to mitigate the impact of the proposed development. This report has been prepared to support an application for an Excavation Permit under Section 140 of the Heritage Act 1977 (NSW) (the Heritage Act) and in accordance with the Archaeological Assessment Guidelines published by the former Heritage Office (now the Heritage Branch of the Office of Environment and Heritage [OEH).
