dc.descriptionThis study sets down ideas for improving the public areas of the City which can be used as guidelines for future development. We use the phrase Public Domain to refer to areas including footpaths, roads, open space, parks and laneways that are owned or controlled by the City of Sydney and are accessible to the public. This Study will form part of the overall City Centre Public Domain Plan, currently under development. Using a precinct based approach, the Public Domain Plan delivers on Sustainable Sydney 2030 Strategic Direction 4 A City for pedestrians and cyclists; Strategic Direction 5 A Lively and engaging city centre; Strategic Direction 6 Vibrant local communities and economies; and Strategic Direction 7 A cultural and creative city.en
