Title: Great Western Highway upgrade Stage 5: Station St, Woodford to Winbourne Rd, Hazelbrook / Prepared by BIOSIS Research for NSW Roads and Traffic Authority.
metadata.dc.contributor.corpauthor: Prepared by BIOSIS Research for NSW Roads and Traffic Authority
Description: The NSW Roads and Traffic Authority (RTA) is in the process of upgrading and widening the Great Western Highway (GWH) through the Blue Mountains. Given the length of the GWH and the requirement for it to continue as an operational road corridor during the upgrade, the works have been compartmentalised into stages. This report is specific to Stage 5, Woodford to Hazelbrook. An assessment of historic heritage values within the project area was prepared by lILA Envirosciences (2002), based on the concept design drawings that were available at that time. The project has since progressed to the detailed design phase and the impact footprint has changed from that assessed during the concept design. Biosis Research Pty. Ltd. has been engaged to update the lILA Envirosciences report to reflect the current project impact area. Identification of the project impact area as described in this report supersedes that discussed in the lILA Envirosciences report for this stage of the project.
