This report is designed to identify and evaluate the requirements of the historic resources contained within the study area prior to and/or during redevelopment of that area. It identifies the potential archaeological resource and defines strategies for its management. The latter are commensurate with its cultural significance (determined using standard criteria) and in accordance with the requirements of the Heritage Act of NSW. This report has been prepared to a format that is acceptable to the NSW Department of Planning utilising a methodology defined by J.S. Kerr in "The Conservation Plan".
